History & Mission

Founded in 1957, the Far West Detroit Civic Association was created to champion the common interests of residents, foster educational opportunities, and enhance neighborhood safety.

Over six decades later, our commitment remains rooted in building a stronger, more connected community.

Neighborhood Description

Our community stretches from Warren to Meadow Park, and West Parkway to Parkland/Rouge Park in Northwest Detroit.
